Bangladesh & England will face each other in the game of cricket in a Cricket Series from October 7th-November 1st, 2016. This Bangladesh vs England 2016 series will comprise of 2 Tests & 3 ODIs. It will be a home series for Bangladesh.
Earlier, Bangladesh defeated England in their last meeting in the 2015 World Cup Group stage match in Adelaide Oval, Australia. In the last 5 ODIs between these two teams, Bangladesh has won 3 times. So, they are being thought to be the favourites in the ODI series. As the series is going to be held in the home ground for the Bangladeshi tigers, they will be more dangerous for the visitors.
However, in the last test meeting between these two teams, back in 2010, England won comprehensively all the matches. Although Bangladesh has improved in the ODI arena, they are yet to show such progress in the test matches. If they can bring their ODI form in the test arena, there will be a good contest between these two teams in the test matches also.
Bangladesh has just won the Rocket ODI series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan by 2-1. They have played after nearly 10 months. So, they have to prove their capability in front of the home crowd by defeating the English team once again.
The home advantage will be surely present for Bangladesh. They have been brilliant in the last home series against India, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Pakistan. So, it will be a good contest to watch for the cricket lovers.
