Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will meet each other this April-May for a month-long series of 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 2 T20s. Zimbabwe will host this series. This series will be an occasion for both teams to prove their capability and position in the cricket world.
Bangladesh has just finished a month-long series in Sri Lanka against the hosts. They have played well against Sri Lanka by drawing the 1st test and squaring the ODI series. After Playing with them, they will head to Zimbabwe for this much-awaited series. The Tigers have improved as a team in recent years, which was evidenced by some wins against stronger teams like West Indies. Now it will be a test for their capability of maintaining the process of consistency. Mushfiqur Rahim, the BD skipper is very positive. Although the Tigers have some injury problems of some of their best ones like Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza etc, they are still a balanced team. The replacing players are doing their job nicely and contributing in the matches.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe will try to take the advantage of their home conditions and beat the visitors in their own venues. They have worked really hard in their recent series against South Africa. Some of their players are in good form. So, this series will not be easy for both the teams.
