For the last few months, many people are being attacked by malicious sex or porn virus on Facebook. This is quite embarrassing for them and their friends on Facebook. In these cases, suddenly a shocking news link with a nude or semi-nude photo is shared automatically from the victim’s account without his/her concern. The victim is totally unaware of that post from his/her account. His/her friends think that this is deliberately done by that person and they get a very bad impression on the victim.
However, the victim is not like a saint at all. He/she has become a victim because of his/her own mistake. This Facebook virus spread from account to account by a simple click on the links shared by the victims. That means, if you click on your friend’s post with a malicious and sexy link, you will be attacked by it and the same type of posts will be posted all the time from your account without your concern. So, this is a nasty virus! Let’s discuss the solution to recover Facebook account from this virus after being attacked.
1. Change Your Mentality: This is the first and foremost work you have to do. If you can’t change your mentality, you will click such virus links again and again in the near future. This will cause re-attack and your account will be in danger. So, change the mentality of watching such porn links. Don’t click on those links while you browse Facebook.
2. Remove Unknown Apps: Go to Facebook Settings>Apps to see if there are any unknown apps on the list. If there is any, click on the cross button beside it to remove it and delete the posts shared by it.
3. Change Facebook Password: Change the password of your Facebook account as soon as you notice any activity on your Facebook account without your concern. It can be changed by going to Facebook settings>General Settings or Account Settings>Password.
4. Check Logged In Browsers & Locations:
Check the browsers and locations from where your account is logged in. Remove all the previous browsers and locations. Keep only the current browser and the session. You will get this option in Facebook Settings>Security Settings>Your Browsers and Apps.
5. Enable Login Approvals:
Enable Login Approvals and use Code Generator to get a code on your phone during logging into your account. This will ensure better security of your account.
