Bollywood movies are popular in the Indian subcontinent. But all of them are not good enough. There are some exceptions where some great movies have been made by some great people.
In this post from MAXBANGLA.COM, I will discuss the TOP 10 ROMANTIC BOLLYWOOD MOVIES THAT I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE.
In this movie, the most touching part is the relation between the father and the son. Amitabh Bachchan has played the role of a father who loves his son (Shah Rukh Khan) but can’t express the feelings to him. It happens in almost all families in the Indian subcontinent. Moreover, Kajal was from a different cast who was in love with Shah Rukh Khan. This part also teaches about the changing trends of love and religion all over the world.

9. VIVAH (2006)
In this movie, Shahid Kapoor & Amrita Rao has acted so romanticly that I couldn’t exclude it from this list. “Love at first sight” is so romantic! In an accident, Amrita was burnt and still, Shahid married her. It shows the real love between two persons. That’s a rare thing in the current world!
IMDB RATING: 6.8
MY PERSONAL RATING: 6.2
Bodyguard is the blind love story of Salman Khan & Kareena Kapoor. Salman didn’t know that Kareena is the person who loved him. But still, he loved Kareena through cell phone and later discovered that he had been cheated by Kareena’s friend, Hazel Keech. In the end, he finds his real love, which teaches us, real love never dies!

Again Shah Rukh Khan & this time with his great film with Kajol & Rani Mukherji. Shah Rukh & Kajol were best friends in college but Shah Rukh suddenly loved Rani as she was more womanly than Kajol, who used to live a manly life! But in the end, Shah Rukh found that his real love was Kajol & in a dramatic situation, got the chance to marry her.

Shah Rukh Khan is called the Romantic Hero of Bollywood for this reason! He has acted in a huge number of romantic movies & this is one of them. In this movie, we get the message that love obeys no rules! Amitabh was an angry father who never accepted her daughter’s (Aishwarya Bachchan) love and as a result, she committed suicide. Later, he found that he was wrong. Love is not a sin.

The theme of this love story matches with the previous one in this list, as Amrish Puri didn’t accept the love between her daughter (Kajol) & Shah Rukh Khan. But in the end, he realized that love can’t be defeated & let Kajol go with Shah Rukh.

This is the love story of a Hindu boy (Shah Rukh Khan) & a Muslim girl (Preity Zinta). After 22 years in jail, Shah Rukh Khan was made free & eventually found his love with the help of Rani Mukherji, his lawyer. This love story proves that religion can never defeat love…

Aamir Khan & Juhi Chawla was very young when they acted in this movie & it became a masterpiece of love. They loved, their families never accepted it, they died. It was a very sorrow ending but reminds of the power of true love.
IMDB RATING: 8.0
MY RATING: 8.2
Salman Khan & Bhoomika Chawla made a masterpiece of love story through this film. It was a record-breaker & saved Salman’s career. In this movie, Salman loves Bhoomika, but he was not the type of boy she wanted. But the true love made Bhoomika love him too. But, the rivals came into the action & Salman became a psychiatry patient. Bhoomika committed suicide as she never wanted to marry any other person rather than Salman. It shows that true love sometimes ends in sorrows. But, never dies…
IMDB RATING: 7.1
MY PERSONAL RATING: 8.7
For the sixth time in this list, Shah Rukh Khan appeared and this time, with the most romantic Hindi film in my opinion. It’s according to the novel of the famous Bengali SATAT CHANDRA CHATTOPADHYAY, who wrote a great love story. It’s all about the love of two persons, Shah Rukh Khan & Aishwarya Bachchan who were neighbours from childhood. They loved themselves from the heart from childhood. But society never accepted their love. In the end, Aishwarya married another old man & Shah Rukh became addicted to drugs. In the last scene, he could not see his love for the last time, which I think, is the most heart touching scene in this movie. It will make you cry if you love someone from your heart…
